Kings County Bakery is a fictional bakery located in Bellevue, Washington. This was the final project for the foundations in Web Design class in which the class was required to design a website based around a given brand.
Initially the logo and typefaces were given to us, and required for the class to use. The logo has since been revised to include one of my own.
Immortal Motorcycle Clothing Company
Logo, Photography, Web Design, Ads, Hand Lettering.
Immortal Motorcycle Clothing Company was a personal project to showcase my passion for motorcycles, offbeat fashion, and to get more practice in designing for web, and to showcase my photography.
Having loved ones of my own that struggle with the cycle of addiction and alcoholism every day, inspired this series of advertisements. They're meant to not only encourage those who have not attended a Narcotics Anonymous meeting to attend one but to also get local communities to start talking about addiction and what can be done to help addicts and loved ones.
Personal Brand Identity: 2016
Identity Logo, Mark, Resume & Business Cards
2016 Personal Identity featuring hand-lettered logo and flame mark. Inspiration came from peers who called me "Flaher" (Flare) for short because there were already several other Katelyn's amongst us.
Builders Surplus Brand Manual
Logo & Brand Manual
Builders Surplus needed a brand standard manual that current and future marketing employees could look at and gain a sense of direction for the work that they were doing.
A new and updated logo was included for portfolio purposes. The logo evokes a somewhat craftsman home feel and the lines give it a feeling of working towards finishing a home.
Yin Tea Packaging
Logo, Illustration, 3 Packages, Ephemera, Web Design
Final project for my Packaging design class. One of my hobbies is to create herbal teas. Inspired by the Chinese and Japanese tea ceremonies which the Goddess Quan Yin (also known as the Iron Goddess) rules over. Many hints at asian symbolism are found throughout the logo and packaging.
There is a bulk loose leaf tea bag, smaller loose leaf tins, and individual ready-brew tea bags in their own die-cut box. The mugs were intended to be limited edition pieces as apart of a potential promotion for the brand.
The patterns that are associated with each of the tea flavors are all watercolor illustrations.
